Vehicles with Aisin AW 60-40LE, 50-40LE and 50-42LE transmissions often have TCC troubles related to a worn lockup control sleeve. This wear allows critical fluid to escape the circuit and results in TCC apply and release concerns, TCC codes, overheat, and burnt TCC linings as well as reduced fuel economy. Installing Sonnax lockup control plunger valve kit 59954-01K eliminates the path for fluid to escape, restoring normal TCC operation and control.
- Sleeve manufactured from highly wear-resistant aluminum
- Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve combats premature wear
- Annular grooves help center valve in sleeve to prevent deterioration caused by side-loading
Symptoms:

Cause:
Lockup control sleeve deterioration causes TCC malfunction.
Correction:
Recover hydraulic control and renew TCC operation by installing Sonnax lockup control plunger valve kit.
