• Pressure Regulator Valve• Plunger Valve• Pressure Regulator SpringExcessive OE plunger valve and bore wear results in high line pressure conditions. Excessive wear of the OE pressure regulator valve and bore may cause low, high or unstable line pressure issues.
When installed, the Sonnax pressure regulator valve repair kit, 120940-01K, restores correct pressure regulator and plunger valve operation to provide appropriate line pressure for all operating conditions.
• Salvages otherwise scrap DPO/AL4 valve bodies for reuse.• Restores nominal OE line pressure and eliminates related shift problems.• Hard anodized aluminum valves resist wearSymptoms: • Default mode• No Drive when hot• Pressure regulation codes• Pressure sensor reading lowCause: Pressure regulator and plunger valves and bores show significant wear.
Correction:
Sonnax has designed an oversized valve that restores OE normal line pressure and shift concerns.

E1/E2 Clutch Drum
• Bushing Style: Precision• Material: Steel-backed aluminum alloyOE replacement bushings can allow critical line pressure to exhaust because of poor fit. This line pressure feeds the E2 clutch and provides critical lube.
When the bushing is worn or incorrectly toleranced, it will result in poor or erratic 2nd gear shifts, burned clutches and loss of lube. The Sonnax replacement bushing 120002 is designed to provide the proper clearance for this application.
• Bushing is constructed from durable steel backed aluminum for better wear resistance than the OE bushing.• Bushing is precision machined to provide the correct clearance with the mating shaftNOTE:The Sonnax bushing is designed to maintain minimal clearance between the bore and the mating shaft to greatly enhance the life of the bushing. As a result, there may be situations where the mating shaft and bushing don't fit due to some small interference.
In this instance you may carefully polish the bushing bore with fine emery cloth or a fine abrasive hand pad until the shaft fits in the bushing.

This Adapter allows for the fitting of an auxiliary Oil Cooler to vehicles fitted with a DP0 or AL4 transmission.
These transmissions are known to run hot and our research has shown around a 20% reduction in the transmission running temperature using one of these coolers. Simply remove the existing Heat Exchanger, re- using the original Banjo bolt and O’rings will allow the connection of the Auxiliary Cooler hoses.
Then re-fit the heater hoses to by-pass the original heat exchanger.
