Vehicles equipped with Jatco/Nissan JF016E (RE0F10D) and JF017E (RE0F10E) transmissions commonly have TCC apply and release concerns that can be traced to problems in the torque converter lube regulator valve train. Wear in plunger valve and sleeve allows critical fluid to escape from the circuit, and can result in overheated fluid, stall on engagement, no lockup, jerking on coastdown and overheated transmission and converter.

Symptoms:

Delayed Forward & Reverse Push belt slippage

Cause:

Worn pump flow control valve and bore allow pump pressure to leak to low pressure side of pump.

Correction:

Ream the bore to restore circularity and size the diameter to establish functional clearances between the reamed bore and oversize valve. Functional clearances will eliminate pump pressure loss and slippage. Fits '07-later
